SKI & SNOWBOARD LESSONS FOR KIDS
Safe, fun lessons for children aged 3+ on the slopes of Sestriere
The slopes of Sestriere are perfect for children who are starting to ski or snowboard. The learning area and the blue runs, which stay sunny for most of the day, offer a safe and welcoming environment for taking their first steps on snow.
Young children learn naturally: they approach new experiences with less fear, develop coordination quickly and enjoy every little achievement. Many of our instructors grew up on these very slopes — a deep connection that still fuels their passion for snow today.

Private lessons are ideal for younger children, for those who want exclusive attention, or for kids who are approaching skiing or snowboarding for the very first time. With a dedicated instructor by their side, your child is guided gradually and calmly through their first runs on the slopes of Sestriere.
Once they gain confidence, the lesson can be shared with one or two other children. If this solution appeals to you, just let our office know and we’ll help you find the most suitable option
Group lessons are perfect for learning together, making new friends and experiencing the mountains with enthusiasm. In a small group, kids improve while having fun: the instructor guides them through their first turns, small jumps and, when the level allows, even a few easy off-piste sections.
The course is designed for children aged 6 and up who already have some basic experience on skis or a snowboard. It runs from Monday to Friday for a total of 15 hours. Groups are organised by age and ability level, with a maximum of 8 participants to ensure a motivating and well-supervised environment.

Is it better to start with skiing or snowboarding?
The choice between skiing and snowboarding for children primarily depends on their motivation and desires. Both sports offer opportunities for fun and growth, and there’s no one sport that’s better than the other.
The children’s intrinsic motivation, their internal desire to learn and progress, is crucial for success in learning any sport. If children are enthusiastic about learning to ski or snowboard, it’s important to listen to and support their choice.
